UNFORGETTABLE

Hole # 16 is a beautiful par 3. Hitting from an elevated tee can be tricky due to the crosswind that is always a factor. Be sure you carry the ball far enough, water guards the front and left side of the green. If the pin is tucked left, don’t bail out too much right, or a very difficult chip or pitch remains.

TESTER

Hole # 10 plays 560 yards from the white tee. On tournament day it will play 590. An average to good tee shot will leave you a 180 yard carry over water to a narrow landing area, with hazard left and trees right. Perfect 3rd shot position still leaves 80-130 yards into a two-tier narrow green over a potentially dangerous bunker. 5 is a great score!

DIRECTIONS

From the Bremerton Ferry: Turn right onto Washington Ave. from ferry terminal. Washington Ave. will swing to the left and become 11th St. Turn right on Warren Ave. and cross the bridge. Follow Wheaton Way past Fred Meyer to McWilliams Rd. Turn right for five miles and course will be on right.

Rolling Hills offers plenty of challenge to all skill levels. With trees, narrow fairways, and small greens, you'll find this golf course a great test at 6000 yards. Rolling Hills has two holes with water, and 26 bunkers which make it a pleasure to walk. With views of the Olympic Mountain Range and Mt. Rainer, you'll find Rolling Hills as much a value as it is enjoyable.

How can a pre-game warm up get you off to a good start and lower scores? - TED HUDANICH

Before playing your round start off by stretching for ten minutes. Also warm up by hitting short shots very easy at first, then work your way down to your woods. Also make your way to the putting green to get used to the speed of the greens. You'll find you have more confidence on the course and less injuries.
