UNFORGETTABLE 

Hole # 14 is a beautiful 486 to 530 yard par 5. Accuracy is a must off the tee as the fairway doglegs to the left. Once you reach the green you'll find a two tiered green that slopes from back to front and is difficult to putt. As you look back the fairway from the green, you'll have a beautiful panoramic view of Chuckanut Mountain.

TESTER

Hole # 13 is an uphill par 3 that plays longer than the yardage. Once you've selected the right club make sure you don't hook it left. The green slopes severely from left to right making an up and down nearly impossible as you try to chip down this steep fast green.

DIRECTIONS

I-5 north, take exit 246. Go to the stop sign and make a left. Golf course is 2 1/2 miles on your left. I-5 south take exit 252. Turn left at the light and go over the freeway. Take 1st right and continue 3 miles to golf course on your right.

 
Golf Digest rates Lake Padden golf course as one of the best municipal courses in the state. Just an easy drive north of Seattle, you'll have breathtaking views of the Cascades and Mt. Baker as you climb to Lake Padden. Carved out of a second growth forest and nearly 6600 yards, every hole is encapsulated within the trees, making each hole its own course. With large treacherous greens, you can have a four-club difference from front to back making club selection a challenge.

How should players leave the course? - KENE BENSEL


Players should respect the golf course by leaving it in better condition than they found it. Little things like picking up trash even if it's not yours, or fixing someone else's ball mark are easy to do. We work hard on the golf course keeping it in the best shape we can, and will continue to do so. We want Lake Padden to be an enjoyable experience for every golfer who plays, but we need the golfers assistance to make it a pleasant experience for all.
