UNFORGETTABLE

Hole #16 is a par 4 playing 378 yards. An elevated tee awaits you and a beautiful view of the Columbia River. The green is a severe sloping surface that is guarded by the largest sand trap on the course. This hole is tough but will bring you back again and again.

TESTER

Once you've enjoyed the view on the 16th hole and parred #17, the straightforward 18th hole remains. It looks fairly easy from the tee but there is O.B. that lurks on both sides of the fairway to snatch up any errant shots. Play for par here, many good rounds have been ruined on this hole.

DIRECTIONS

Take I-90 to State Route 243. Take 243 south 20 miles to entrance. Enter Desert Aire and follow signs to the course in the middle of the development. We are about an hour from Yakima, the Tri-Cities, and Moses Lake.

Desert Aire golf course is the best kept secret in central Washington. Generally, you won't need a tee time during the week, but give yourself enough time anyway. The greens at Desert Aire are always kept in great shape and will some of the best you will play on. Although the slope is 111, the low handicapper will still be challenged. A fun course to play for all abilities and ages.

How can the rules help my game? - BO KRAUSE

Learning to play by the rules is something every golfer needs top adhere to. They are generally your friend not your enemy. One rule that is often interpreted incorrectly is "nearest point of relief". How many club lengths should I take, or do I get penalized? Check with your pro on the markings that define your boundaries and hazards and learn the correct rule for the correct situation.
