UNFORGETTABLE

Hole #16 is a par 5 dogleg right. Playing 525 yards from the back, this hole is tree lined from tee to green. More lumber is hit on this hole than on any other in the greater Seattle area. If you hit it perfectly straight off the tee, you've probably aimed at the tree in the center of the fairway and you'll hit that too. At the 150 yard marker the hole doglegs right. A strategic water hazard hides on the right corner, catching anything sent crooked from the second shot. Golfers arriving to the green safely are not "out of the woods" yet. This green has a drastic slope from back to front. Phrases like "unfair hole positions" are not uncommon. Stay below the hole and make your putt. This is one of our best holes, enjoy it!

TESTER

Hole #8 is a fairly short par five. This hole causes more grief for the golfer than any other. Most get intimidated from the tee because the river borders the entire left side. Golfers have the option to "Cut off" as much of the river as they like. If you hit the narrow landing area, you might find it ahs bounced through the fairway and found the trees or hazards. Finally, a large trench at the 150 must be negotiated on your second shot. Lay-up or blast over?? This hole has seen many eagles, birdies and pars, but it's also produced many more unspeakable scores that we won't discuss.

How should we warm up correctly? - CHAD TACHELL

Often, golfers rush their warm up throwing their tempo off for the entire round. Start with an 8-iron and chip 20 or so balls off the front end of the tee (15-20 yds.) Do some basic stretching before and during these warm up shots. Force yourself to swing as slow as possible! After a couple dozen chips and pitches, progress to longer swings. Keep swinging slower than your normal tempo. Finish the warm up with a few longer irons and just a couple shots with the woods or driver. By starting slow in the warm up, a player has a better chance of developing a swing that has a good tempo for the round.
